Keep in mind that after redeeming any Game Pass codes, Microsoft signs you up for automatic renewals at $15 per month, so make sure to cancel that if you don't want to be on the hook for future months. All codes purchased through StackCommerce must be redeemed within 30 days, so you'll have to circle back after your month is up to see if you can still cash in on some savings.
It's important to stress that it's not possible to get around "no stacking" stipulation. If you subscribe on the Xbox Store today, you'll have to pay the standard $15 rate. With Microsoft ending the $1 Game Pass offer, we could see more movement on the Friends & Family plan soon.Even with those caveats, this is still solid deal, especially since Microsoft recently stopped offering its own deal on your first month of Game Pass Ultimate. The trial is currently available in Ireland, Colombia, Chile, Hungary, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sweden but is yet to come over to the US or UK. Microsoft recently began trialling the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Friends & Family Plan in multiple countries, giving up to five accounts access to Ultimate for around $24. It's unclear if new members will see another promotion like this in the future. The $1 trial had been around for several years and allowed new users to check out what Game Pass had to offer for a full month before renewing at $14.99 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or $9.99 a month for either Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass.
